Who’s involved in the project?

SolarReserve

SolarReserve is the Developer and key Technology Supplier of the Aurora project, with its Asset Management division overseeing ongoing operations.

Contractors

SolarReserve is in the process of selecting a general Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor for the Aurora project.  We anticipate that a large portion of the equipment and services for the project will be sourced from South Australia in the construction phase. Interested suppliers should express their interest through the supplier portal for Aurora.

Owners

SolarReserve is the project owner, and is currently in the process of securing investment partners.

Dan Thompson

Daniel Thompson

Vice President of Development, Australia
Daniel is SolarReserve’s Australian Vice President of Development, responsible for developing innovative renewable energy projects in Australia utilising SolarReserve’s world leading solar thermal and integrated storage technology, as well as large scale PV projects. Prior to joining SolarReserve, Daniel led the renewable energy development team at Verve Energy (now part of Synergy), Western Australia’s largest electricity generator.

Development Manager, Australia
Grant Alderson is a Development Manager at SolarReserve with over 15 years major development experience on innovative private and public-sector projects in NSW, WA and SA, including green urban developments and renewable energy infrastructure such as wind, PV and solar thermal.
Antione Le-Ray

Antione Le-Ray

Development Manager, Australia
Antoine is a Development Manager at SolarReserve with a degree in Electrical Engineering with double majors in renewable energy and power systems. Prior to joining SolarReserve, Antoine was a renewable energy engineer in Western Australia charged with asset management, operations and project development for a range of PV, wind, pumped hydro and fringe of grid assets, including Australia’s first MW scale grid connected PV farm.

Communications and Government Relations Manager, Australia
Louise Foote manages SolarReserve’s Communications and Government Relations for Australia. Based in Port Augusta, Louise’s role is focused on community, government, and public relations. With a passion for ensuring Regional South Australia is able to capitalise on new and emerging industries, Louise brings extensive training and employment experience across a number of industries including health, aged care, education, maritime, heavy industry and renewables.
